Looking at Verizon

I am looking seriously at taking a starting position in Verizon. : VZ :

This purchase would be for my IRA account with a DRIP program activated. The dividend yield for VZ is currently at 6.5%. If I reinvested those dividends it would allow me to accrue shares and effectively cost average my position. I am posting a chart for today so you can see what I am seeing on that front.

Fundamentally, I believe Verizon is in a good position going forward as well. There is plenty of research to do before you invest any money in the market.
